Eagle Scout Pierce Kiernan receives recognition

The July 7, 2010 Plumsted Township Committee Meeting was opened with a Flag Salute and the Pledge of Allegiance lead by Eagle Scout Pierce Kiernan, after which Mayor Dancer and the Township Committee awarded a Certificate of Recognition for obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Pictured here is Eagle Scout Pierce Kiernan receiving his recognition. The Eagle Scout rank is the highest Boy Scout award. Which requires 21 Merit Badges and a community project – Pierce’s project was to install a US Flag & pole and light at Oakford Lake Park.
