Easter Bluebird as Plumsted Township’s Official Bird

At the July 7, 2010 Plumsted Township Committee Meeting, The Township of Plumsted by unanimous Proclamation has proclaimed the Easter Bluebird as Plumsted Township’s Official Bird.

Mr. William Lewis a member of the Plumsted Township Environmental Committee read the Proclamation and gave a brief description of the Blue Bird and how there are numerous nesting bluebirds as Plumsted preserved open spaces and farmlands are prime habitat for the bird.
