PUBLIC NOTICE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of  Plumsted’s Plan Endorsement Advisory Committee (PEAC) and the Township’s Planning Consultant, CMX, Inc. will be available to answer the public’s inquiries, and additional input will be sought in the form of questionnaires and surveys about the vision for Plumsted’s future development.  The PEAC and CMX, Inc. will take comments on issues related to downtown development and design, historic and farmland preservation.  A table will be set up at the New Egypt Day Fair on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

The Plumsted Township Committee is announcing a potential investment opportunity within the New Egypt Town Center under the economic Redevelopment Plan. The prospective property, formerly known as Hartman’s Pharmacy, is located at 29 Main Street New Egypt, next to the Township’s Welcome Center building and free municipal parking lot. The Township is seeking interested potential investors to purchase the building with the intent to continue permitted mixed uses of a first floor commercial business use and second floor residential use. The Township has grant programs and tax incentives available to provide financial assistance for restoration and renovations. Interested potential investors should contact our Main Street New Egypt Executive Director, Peter Ylvisaker, for more information at the Welcome Center office, 31 Main Street, 609-758-7539.
