Mayor Dancer and local businessman John Gale (center), members of the Township Committee, Main Street New Jersey, the Plumsted Business and Merchants Association, Township Engineer, Marlin Construction and other guests gathered by the Town Clock for the official opening of the new parking lot at 6 Main Street in New Egypt.
A commemorative plaque to the innocent victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on our nation is located at the new parking lot by the American flag pole.
A new business at 9 Main Street (carpeting and flooring) recently opened across the street.
The new parking lot was built with an interest free Downtown Business Improvement Zone loan from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
