Recreation and Parks
Plumsted Township provides and maintains nearly 40 acres of recreation areas.
For sports like baseball, softball, football, soccer there are fields at the
junction of Brynmore and Brindletown Roads, commonly called REC Park it also
has basketball courts, tennis courts and roller hockey. It also boasts
horseshoe pits and volleyball courts; and to keep in shape for all the play, a
fitness station, a picnic grove, and tot play area; this is a place to visit.
The Recreation Building hosts rest rooms and a snack bar. Brindletown Lake Park
(at end of Brindle-town Rd.) has good fishing, and makes for a nice secluded
picnic, but let's keep it a secret!
