BELLS OF PEACE: A WORLD WAR I REMEMBRANCE

Plumsted Township
Bells of Peace

November 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice that ended the fighting in World War I.  81 citizens of Plumsted Township served our nation in the Great War.  The tolling of bells is a traditional expression of honor and remembrance.

The Plumsted Township Committee calls upon all Americans to toll bells in remembrance of those who served in World War I at 11:00 am on November 11, 2018, which is the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
