Consider Volunteering in Plumsted Township
Let your voice be heard! Plumsted Township has assorted boards and committees that play an important role in shaping our community, while offering citizens the opportunity to participate and help move the township forward. We encourage volunteers from different backgrounds to help make our town a better place to live, work and enjoy.
There may be openings or appointments available for the following boards and committees:
- Municipal Utilities Authority*
- Land Use Board*
- Pride in Plumsted
- The Council for the Arts
- Environmental Committee
- PYNE - Plumsted Youth for Nature and the Environment
- Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliance
- Recreation Committee - 1st Thursday of the month meetings

Any resident interested in serving as a member on one of the township’s various boards or committees should send an email expressing interest to: municipalclerk@plumsted.org.
*For those interested in the Municipal Utilities Authority and Land Use Board, please forward a cover letter along with your resume to: municipalclerk@plumsted.org.
While efforts will be made to place residents on requested boards, it may not be possible in all instances due to availability.
