If you have already sent in your order form for an etched brick to support my paver patio Eagle Scout Project for the New Egypt Fire Company, thank you! If you were considering purchasing a brick, it's not too late! I am extending the deadline to this Friday, October 22nd, to allow for as many additional orders as possible. Sam Menaker, a senior at New Egypt High School and a Life Scout in BSA Troop 9 here in New Egypt, is currently fundraising for his Eagle Scout project.   The project is a paver patio and picnic tables at the firehouse on Main Street. For his fundraiser, he is selling etched bricks that will be incorporated into the patio. The bricks can be personalized with a message of your choice. The patio is his way of giving back to the first responders who put so much of themselves on the line for us. Sam would be honored with any support for his project and added your message of support to our local heroes.
