Memorial Day Parade Applications Due by May 12
Dear Friends:
Please do not miss your opportunity to participate in the 2023 Plumsted Township Memorial Day Parade. It will take place Monday, May 29 at 1:00 PM. We welcome color guards, floats, emergency vehicles, bands, specialty cars, horses and more for participation, reflecting the wide variety of interests in our community.
As is our tradition, line-up will occur on Bright Rd. at 12 noon.
EVERYONE MUST ENTER BRIGHT RD. FROM EVERGREEN RD.—NO EXCEPTIONS
Parade participants assemble in the eastbound lane from Evergreen, blocking two-way traffic. Cars entering from North Main St. create a hazardous situation for parade participants and pedestrians walking to the route. Your cooperation is needed and appreciated.
A Memorial Day Service will be held at the American Legion immediately following the finish of the parade. Refreshments will be served after the service concludes.
Please complete the attached form by Friday, May 12, and return it by email to pio@plumsted.org, by fax (609) 758-0123, standard mail, or drop it at the Clerk’s office or exterior drop-box at the Municipal Building.
