Safety Alert: Plumsted Residents

Attention Plumsted Residents:

Throughout the day today we have handled approximately 22 cases of vehicles being entered from the early morning hours. As of 3:30 pm, we were still investigating and receiving additional calls regarding those crimes. The officer and detective are actively looking into leads. The detective bureau is also in contact with other agencies. If you have home security video footage, please contact the police non-emergency number 609/758-7185. The area most hit are the developments on the east side of town.

I am asking that all residents ensure all personal belongings of value not be left inside your vehicles. Also, please lock your vehicles if outside overnight.
