WASTEWATER TREATMENT (SEWER) PAYMENT OPTIONS: 

Quarterly (three months) Service Charge

The quarterly charge (three months) is $210.00. Payment is by check, cash, online bill payment through your bank or by money order. Please make your check or money order payable to:  PMUA. A credit card option and electronic check option through “Point and Pay” is also available.

The “Point and Pay” option is found at:  https://client.pointandpay.net/webportal/partner.do?method=prepare&webSiteId=1004&ppid=5351 There will be a convenience charge for a credit card payment or an electronic check payment in addition to the quarterly service charge.

The Plumsted MUA has solicited a list of plumbers interested in providing estimates for the sewer lateral connection for the Phase 1 sewer property connections.  Where indicated, the plumbers have indicated the willingness to delay payment until those applying for the Sewer Connection Loan through the Township receive the loan payment.  The PMUA neither recommends nor endorses any of the plumbers listed here and recommend residents do their due diligence and request several estimates.

Attention Licensed NJ Plumbers:

The Plumsted MUA is preparing to activate a new sanitary sewer collection and treatment system for the Downtown New Egypt region.  All residents participating in the system have been notified of the connection requirements and estimated timeline (currently mid-November).  The PMUA is also offering a loan reimbursement program to help residents offset the cost of the connection. 

The PMUA is soliciting a list of licensed plumbers interested in providing the services needed for residents to make connection to the system and abandon existing septic/cesspool systems.  The PMUA is also interested in companies willing to forego resident payment until the loan is processed (2-4 weeks) and residents receive assistance from the PMUA. 

If interested, please provide the following information in an email to PMUA.  The PMUA will provide a listing of interested plumbers on its website for residents to access.
