Fireworks Event

I want to thank, as I did at the fireworks event on 7/10 – all those who helped make the fireworks event – what I feel was our towns very best ever. I have personally thanked the fireworks company, Celebration Fireworks, for their display. The display was sponsored by Mr. Jamey Bohonyi of Animals and Gardens Unlimited, Mr. Christian Nevers of The New Egypt MarketPlace, and Big Woods Farm and Nursery as well as Donny’s Pottys for donating the port-a-potties, and Laurita Winery for donating the field lights. Also we are grateful for the help of Mr. Joe Paolo – Fire Marshall, New Egypt Police Department, New Egypt Fire Company and EMTs, Mr. Dave Leutwyler, Mr. Randy Priest, Mr. John Neyenhouse and sons, Mr. Al Hutchins, the Plumsted Township Finance Department, the New Egypt School District, and Mrs. Jennifer Witham. The event could not have been such a success without each one of you. If I have missed anyone, I apologize.

Finally, I want to thank the attendees of the event. You left the high school grounds – just as they were before you arrived – free of debris. I hope everyone who helped and those attending the event from our community had a wonderful evening.
