Calling all fishermen and fisherwomen!

The 2023 Fishing Event will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at Oakford Lake, New Egypt, N.J., from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. No registration is required.

This event is open to everyone. However, youngsters should be accompanied by an adult. Oakford Lake will be stocked with approximately 300 trout, spanning lengths of 8 to 13 inches.

The Fishing Event is graciously sponsored by Big Woods Farm and Nursery, Herb Marinari, Owner.

Participants must adhere to N.J. Fish and Game regulations. Any participant aged 15 or older is required to possess a valid N.J. fishing license. Additionally, if you plan to remove trout from the lake, a trout stamp is necessary, with a daily limit of four (4) trout. For your convenience, bait, as well as fishing licenses are available at Animals and Gardens Unlimited (AG-U), Jacobstown Rd. New Egypt. 

Herb Marinari, the event sponsor, encourages all the fisher-folk to continue partaking in quality, late-fall and winter fishing at Oakford Lake throughout the remainder of the year.
