Gingerbread House Contest!

Virtual Gingerbread House Competition

Official guidelines and information:

1. Submission dates: November 27 - December 18th at 8:00pm

2. The winner(s) will be announced on December 21st; each recipient will be

awarded a $25 gift card from a local business

3. Participants are allowed to submit more than one work

4. There are no restrictions/limitations on materials

5. Submissions must be sent to the Council’s Facebook

or email address (arts@plumsted.org) and

include:

a) Name(s)
b) Age group (elementary, middle, high school, or family/group)
c) Title of the work
d) List of materials used
e) A brief statement about the work:

What inspired you to create this piece?
How was it constructed?
What does the holiday season mean to you?

f) At least one photograph documenting the work, and/or a brief 1-2 minute video

**The above statement information can be included in the video instead of written, if preferred**

6. The competition will be judged by Arts Council members

7. Judges will be looking for:

meaningful art-making that exemplifies creativity and originality
a love for the holiday season
