HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT

Please be advised that we're under a heat advisory until Friday at 8 PM with the Heat Index expected to be from 100 to 104. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.

If you are in need of an air-conditioned location, the Ocean County Library is open Thursday and Friday 9 AM-5 PM, and the municipal building is open this Thursday evening and Friday 9 AM-8 PM.
