Holiday Message From The Mayor

Most of our community has experienced anything but a normal year. Many businesses have struggled to keep their doors open. Residents have had to deal with economic issues. We have been blessed with emergency operations that have gone far and above what they normally are required to do. Yes, it has been a year of challenges. For those who have experienced medical issues due to COVID-19 or even lost family members, my prayers are with you for strength and healing.

So this Thanksgiving, even more than in the past, I want to thank you, our residents, for your strength and more importantly your community spirit. May you have an enjoyable and safe holiday. Please remember to frequent our local businesses. If you see one of our emergency personnel, say “Thank You” for keeping New Egypt safe these long months dealing with COVID-19.
