How Do I Pay My Taxes?

Due to the unprecedented situation with COVID-19, the Plumsted Township Committee passed a resolution on April 1, 2020 to allow a 10-day grace period for the 2nd quarter, due May 1, 2020.  Since the 10th is a Sunday, the last day to pay the 2nd quarter taxes with no interest will be May 11, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution, the Plumsted Township Municipal Building remains closed to the public.

Payments can be made in the following ways:

  1. Mail your payment to the Municipal Building at 121 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ  08533.
  2. Pay through the online payment portal which is available 24/7 for your convenience and can be found by visiting www.plumsted.org, click on Online Tax Payments found in the green Citizen Action Center box on the left side of the homepage.
  3. You may be able to pay electronically through your own bank as well.
  4. There is a drop box between the double doors of the lobby for payments.  The dropbox is available for use from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.  This dropbox is for checks or money orders only for payment of taxes.

*NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.

Please note that the Homestead Credit that was initially authorized by the State has also been rescinded, thus NO Homestead Credit will be issued for the May 2020 tax quarter.

We appreciate your cooperation as we navigate these uncertain times.
