JCP&L Aerial Tree Maintenance Planned

We have been notified by JCP&L of the following:

Starting on Wednesday, 3/25 or Thursday, 3/26, weather permitting, Haverfield Aviation will be mobilizing an aerial maintenance crew to JCPL and will be performing aerial maintenance on the B1042 (Cookstown-Larrabee-Whitings) transmission line. This maintenance work is expected to take two weeks to complete (on or by 4/5/2020). The helicopter to be used for this aerial maintenance work is a black, Hughes MD500 with tail registration numbers N303BT.  

The helicopter will be used to transport line crews and equipment to various structures on the line and may often be seen hovering at each location for extended periods where linemen will be working from the helicopter.
