National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Today, January 9, 2024, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Let us take this opportunity to thank the Plumsted Township Police Department for their service to our community, 24/7/365. Our law enforcement officers, regardless of rank, have selected a profession that puts their life on the line, every single day, for our community. Their jobs are often thankless and take them away from family and friends on a regular basis. They have answered a call to public service that is demanding, and unfortunately, often goes unappreciated. Rarely do they know what kind of a day they will have. Today, we have the opportunity to thank them all for their dedication and service.
