"Plumsted Remembers"

9/11 Ceremony outisde Municipal Building

The "Plumsted Remembers" 9/11 ceremony took place in front of the Plumsted Municipal Building earlier today. The entire Township Committee, as well as Assemblyman Alex Sauickie were in attendance. Committeeman Dominick Cuozzo presented the invocation and moderated, while Assemblyman Sauickie and Committeeman Herb Marinari shared personal memories of 9/11/01 amongst those gathered. Committeeman Len Grilletto rang a bell for a total of 22 times, symbolically recognizing the 22 years that have passed since that tragic day in history. The flag was lowered to half staff for the remainder of the day. We will "Never Forget."
