Pride in Plumsted Announces

 Honoring Our Military Branches on

 Veterans Day, November 11, 2022

{UPDATE:  All of the slots have now been filled.  Thank you very much for your contributions.}

OBJECTIVE:  We are looking to honor our four major branches of military services, U.S.Army, U. S. Air Force, U. S. Navy and U. S. Marine Corps.  We will raise the flags of each of these branches of services on the four lampposts at Sgt. David Southard Plaza on Main Street.

REQUESTING:  We are asking Plumsted Township residents if they wish to participate in the fundraising for this event. 

We are asking for contributions in the amount of $30 (no more/no less) from each donor.  The donor will have a choice to designate their contribution to which branch of the service he/she chooses (three donors per flag for a total of 12 donors). The donors name will be placed at the bottom of the designated lamppost of that particular requested service.  Since we have limited slots available, it will be on a first come, first serve basis. The total cost for this event is $350.00. 

If you want to participate in this Veterans Day celebration and want to donate for a particular branch of service, make your check payable to Plumsted Township and indicate the branch of service you are supporting.

Please also indicate the following choices with you contribution:

If my designated branch of service is full, Township can choose another branch of service for me.

If my designated branch of service is full, please return my check.
