Plumsted Township regrets to announce the untimely passing of Dr. Gerald Woehr. For those residents unfamiliar with Dr. Woehr, years ago, his administration, teachers, support staff, and Board of Education, created a Plumsted Township School District that was top rated, not only in Ocean County, but throughout New Jersey. If you were fortunate enough to have known “Jerry,” we are certain you too share in this devastating loss to our community. May he rest in peace.

No additional details are available at this time. However, the Fireworks 2023 program, slated for this Saturday, July 8th, will be dedicated in his memory. Please make every effort to attend.
