STORM UPDATE

Plumsted Township Buildings and Grounds has already addressed most of the issues resulting from yesterday's storm at assorted locations throughout the community. In the Lakeview Rd., Oakford Park area, the water has rescinded and parking lots, as well as the bridge, are accessible. Any trees blocking roadways have been removed.

Some residual water pooling is still noticeable in scattered low-lying areas around the township, but should subside in the next 24-48 hours. Recreation Park is once again OPEN to the public.

As a reminder, orange traffic safety cones placed on roadways and elsewhere should never be ignored, especially during inclement weather. They are strategically located for the protection and safety of everyone. Most importantly, continue to exercise caution when traveling in and around town at all times, and enjoy the wonderful holiday season.
