Tax Assessor P/T– Plumsted Township

Plumsted Township is seeking a part-time Tax Assessor. Candidates must be well versed in all aspects of local assessing practices and be prepared to handle all tax appeals. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and deal effectively with the public, other employees, elected officials, and outside agencies is a must. Must be familiar with all aspects of Farmland Assessment and will be required to follow Division of Taxation guidelines on obtaining farmland CEU’s. Applicants are required to be familiar with the BRT system.
